I am a Canadian writer inclined mostly towards fantasy, horror, and those fears that are the most patient hunters – forgetting, letting too much time pass, being too small to leave so much as a fingerprint on an indifferent universe or too late to make a difference. All of which is to say, how I found myself diligently editing a science fiction novel is as much a mystery to me as to anyone else.
